Rule 8
Designation of Inquiry Officer
(1) According to rule 7, during the initial investigation or based on the information received, if it appears that there is a need to investigate and investigate the offense related to revenue leakage, the Director General may conduct the investigation and investigation himself or appoint an authorized employee to conduct the investigation and investigation.
(2) When the Director General appoints an investigation officer in accordance with sub-rule (1), he may extend the period to complete the investigation and investigation in accordance with section 8 of the Act to the designated support staff.
(3) If the investigation and investigation cannot be completed within the period specified in sub-rule (2), the investigating officer may request an additional period before the Director General.
(4) According to sub-rule (3), if it is reasonable to ask for an additional period, the Director General may extend the period up to a maximum of thirty days once or several times, considering the nature of the offense and the progress made in the investigation.
(5) The format of the letter appointing the investigation officer by the Director General shall be as per Schedule-4.
